The short version
This website sets no tracking cookies, no advertising cookies and no analytics cookies.
It stores one thing in your browser: whether you want the site in English or Spanish. Nothing else. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep. Local storage does a similar job in a different way. Both let a site remember something between visits, such as a setting you chose or the fact that you are logged in.
Cookies become a privacy issue when they are used to follow people from site to site and build a profile of them. That is the kind we do not use.
2. What we actually store
One item, and only after you use the language switch or arrive with your browser set to Spanish:
| Name | Type | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| axis_lang | Local storage | Remembers whether you read the site in English or Spanish, so you do not have to switch every visit. | Until you clear it |
This is a functional item. It holds nothing but the value en or es. It does not identify you, it is not sent to us, and it never leaves your browser.
3. What we do not use
- No analytics. We do not run Google Analytics or any equivalent. We do not count or profile visitors.
- No advertising. No ad pixels, no retargeting tags, no conversion tracking.
- No social media trackers. No embedded share buttons that report back.
- No session recording. Nothing watches your mouse or replays your visit.
- No fingerprinting. We do not try to identify your device by its characteristics.
4. Requests to other companies
This site loads everything from its own address. The fonts, the images and the code are all served from here, so your browser does not quietly call out to a font provider, an analytics service or an advertising network when you open a page.
The one company involved is our hosting provider, which serves the site to you. Like any web server, it records standard server logs when a page is requested, including IP address, time, page and browser type. That is used to serve the site and keep it secure, not to profile you.
5. Why there is no cookie banner
Consent banners exist because most sites load tracking before you have agreed to it. We do not. The single item we store is one you effectively chose by picking a language, and it is needed to give you the site in the language you asked for.
If we ever add analytics or anything that tracks behaviour, we will ask for your consent first and update this page before it goes live.
6. How to remove it
Clearing your browsing data for this site removes the stored language preference. In most browsers this sits under Settings, then Privacy, then something like "Clear browsing data" or "Cookies and site data". You can also block storage for this site entirely.
Nothing on this site breaks if you clear or block it. The only effect is that the site will guess your language again from your browser settings on your next visit.
7. Changes to this policy
If we change what we store, we will update this page and change the date at the top before the change takes effect.
